Brief description of the research topic:

The research topics of our group concern the search for methods of organic synthesis in the area of ​​reactions of nucleophiles with π-electrophilic compounds (carbonyl, sulfonyl, alkenes, arenes, etc.). In particular, we study:
① nucleophilic substitution in acyl and sulfonyl groups (halogen exchange reactions, substitution processes with C-, N- and O-nucleophiles, SuFEx reaction),
② olefination of carbonyl compounds with sulfonates, sulfonyl halides, and carboxylic acid derivatives,
③ functionalization of electrophilic arenes (cyclopropanation, C-H functionalizations, EWG group substitution), and
④ enatioselective additions of carbonyl compounds to sulfonyl Michael-type acceptors (collaboration with P. Kwiatkowski).
