The Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw achieved once again a top-tier rating (A+)

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published the provisional results of the evaluation of the quality of research activity. The Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw achieved once again a top-tier rating (A+), which is the best result in the ranking.

The evaluation assessed the quality of research activities carried out between 2022 and 2025. The assessment was based on three criteria:

  • the scientific standard of the activities carried out (publications, patents),
  • the financial outcomes of scientific research and development work (research projects, revenue from services and commercialisation),
  • the impact of scientific activity on society or the economy.

At the University of Warsaw, 26 academic disciplines were assessed. Nine of them were awarded category A+, including chemical sciences.
