Visit of Researchers from Tongji University to the Faculty of Chemistry

On 14 July 2026, the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw hosted representatives of Tongji University in Shanghai: Professor Pinjing He, Professor Fan Lü, and Professor Hua Zhang.

During the meeting, both institutions presented their research activities and discussed potential areas of scientific collaboration. Particular attention was given to the identification and mitigation of odour emissions, as well as to the broader issue of environmental pollution.

The researchers from Tongji University conduct studies in the field of environmental engineering, including waste treatment and management, control of gaseous pollutant emissions, and environmental risk assessment.

The meeting was an important step towards establishing long-term scientific cooperation and created a basis for future joint research activities. We would like to thank our guests for their fruitful visit, inspiring discussions, and interest in collaboration with the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw.
