Head of Laboratory: Zbigniew STOJEK
Staff at Professors Positions: Renata Bilewicz - Professor of Chemistry, Zbigniew Stojek - Professor of Chemistry
Staff with Ph.D. Degree: dr Karolina Caban, dr hab. Mikołaj Donten, dr Wojciech Hyk, dr Anna Nowicka, dr hab. Marcin Pałys, dr Sławomir Sęk, dr Agnieszka Więckowska

Number of Ph.D. Students: 9
(Elżbieta B±k, Dorota Chibowska, Marianna Gniadek, Marcin Karbarz, Maciej Kli¶, Elwira Maicka, Urszula Majewska, Ewa Nazaruk, Ewelina Zabost)

Areas of Scientific Activity:
Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Electroanalysis.

R. Bilewicz investigates supramolecular assemblies on electrodes, properties of monomolecular films using the Langmuir-Blodgett technique, uses qubic phases to immobilize catalysts on electrodes, and works on molecular nanoconnectorts that would effectively bind the organic material (enzymes) with the electrode surface and allow rapid transformation of chemical signal into electrical signal.

Z. Stojek is interested in simulation of diffusion and migration coupled to heterogeneous electron transfer and homogeneous equilibrium, preparation and examination of intelligent gels, electrochemistry of DNA and interactions of DNA and drugs, and properties of thin layers of electrodeposited amorphous alloys.
